The winning numbers for the Dec. 20 drawing were 3-4-33-36-52, with the Gold Mega Ball being 17 and the Megaplier being 4.
Four players won $1 million in the Dec. 20 drawing by matching all five white balls, with tickets being sold in Arizona, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Texas.
None of these $1 million winners played the Megaplier option, which would have increased their winnings to $4 million.
A player in Michigan won $10,000 in the Dec. 20 drawing by matching four white balls and the Mega Ball.
There were 452,293 tickets sold that won at least $4 in the Dec. 20 drawing, with 18,402 of these tickets being sold in Michigan.
The next Powerball drawing is on Dec. 21 with an estimated jackpot of $170 million and a cash option of $91.5 million.
The last players from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot were the Wolverine FLL lottery club, who won a $1.05 billion jackpot in March 2021.
