Alex Jones Requests $1.3 Million Salary in Infowars Bankruptcy Proceedings

Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist, has requested a $1.3 million annual salary from the bankrupt parent company of his website Infowars.

Jones and his company, Free Speech Systems LLC, filed for bankruptcy after being ordered to pay $1.5 billion in damages to the families of the 2012 Sandy Hook mass shooting for falsely claiming the massacre was a hoax.

Jones' attorney has requested that the judge restore his salary to its previous level.

1Jones' current salary is $20,000 biweekly, a significant reduction from his previous salary.

Jones has previously claimed that the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was staged as part of a government plot to seize Americans' guns, but has since acknowledged that the shooting occurred.
