Mukesh Ambani said that JioCinema has a lot of people using it, and many are paying to use it. He also said that during IPL, 450 million people watched it on JioCinema, which is a really big number.
Mukesh Ambani talked to the people who own Reliance and said, “JioCinema is now the biggest place in India for movies, TV shows, and special things from big studios like HBO and NBCU.”
He also said that last year, JioCinema changed things a lot by showing IPL for free. Many people watched it online instead of on TV. Over 120 million people watched the final match, which is more than ever before.
Mukesh Ambani also told everyone about Jio Dive, a special device for watching sports in a new way. It’s like being in a stadium, but you can be anywhere.
Akash Ambani, who is now part of Reliance Industries, said that JioCinema has a lot of videos you can watch for free. They are adding more features soon, like having many videos on the screen at once and supporting different Indian languages.
Mukesh Ambani also talked about Network18, another part of Reliance. He said it’s getting better at giving news, both in India and around the world.
During IPL, JioCinema gave a great experience to cricket fans. They had cool things like very clear videos, showing the game from all angles, and letting fans interact. A lot of people used it during the final match, and on average, each person watched for an hour.
Akash Ambani also said that JioCinema set some records by having a lot of people watch at the same time. They had over 32 million people watching the final match at once. In total, over 120 million people watched IPL on JioCinema.
